Who we are and what we do
The Land Trusts Association encourages and facilitates the dedication of estates, farmlands, woodlands and heritage land to the public benefit.† The importance of the association is to ensure the preservation and continuing use of land, often with educational benefits.
The association is a non-profit charitable organisation, assisting its members in the operation or formation of a charitable land trust by advising of professional bodies in relevant sectors.
Our members are people who are concerned for the future of historic buildings and the countryside and who support the concept of charitable land trusts.
